Join the ‘Eat 4 Your Heart’ challenge!

Maintaining a healthy diet can drastically reduce risk factors for heart disease. This is why we're challenging anyone who is passionate about heart health to take our 'Eat 4 Your Heart' healthy eating challenge for heart month. Everyone who participates will help raise awareness about the simple steps we can make each day to have healthy, beautiful hearts.

The Challenge

Each week share a photo on social media of what a heart-healthy diet looks like to you using these themes.

Week 1 - Paint your Plate

Feb 5 - 11

Heart month challenge week 1

    • Take a selfie showing how you 'Paint your plate' with vegetables and fruit
    • Post your selfie and write about the importance of consuming vegetables and fruit as they are packed with nutrients that give us energy, or leave a comment about your favourite vegetables and fruit
      • Use #Eat4YourHeart #HeartMonth and tag @CPhasHeart
    • Challenge your friends to share how they 'Paint their plates' to have a healthy heart

Week 2 - Fight the Snack Attack

Feb 12 - 18

    • Post your selfie and write about your favourite grab-and-go snacks

    • Challenge your friends to share how they 'Fight the Snack Attack' to have a healthy heart

Week 3 - Hold the salt

Feb 19 - 25

    • Post your selfie and write about how limiting the amount of salt you eat can help lower your blood pressure, which can keep your heart and kidneys healthy
