Senior Vice-President Operations Western Region
Greg Squires was named Senior Vice-President Operations Western Region in April 2020.
In this role, Greg oversees operations in the Pacific, Prairie North, Prairie South and Central Divisions of the western region. This region includes CP's primary route for bulk and resource products traffic from western Canada to the Port of Vancouver for export, as well as CP's busiest operating corridor, the Pacific Division, which has the highest traffic density of CP's network, including significant volumes of international intermodal and domestic general merchandise traffic.
Greg is a supply chain professional with nearly 30 years of railway operations experience and has held various leadership roles in all major CP terminals from Montreal to Vancouver. His expertise in customer-focused, cost-effective planning, while ensuring an unwavering commitment to safety, are imperative to overseeing CP's busy western corridor.
Greg leads a team focused on transformational change through safe and efficient railroading.
Greg was named CP's 2018 Railroader of the Year.
