Vice-President Financial Planning and Accounting
Ian Gray was appointed Vice-President Financial Planning and Accounting in 2018.
Ian joined CP in 2016 as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. A proven leader, Ian was named Assistant Vice-President Financial Planning and Analysis that same year. At CP, Ian oversees financial and capital planning, costing and profitability analysis, and is responsible for CP's financial statements and accounting systems.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Calgary. He has an MPA in Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan and an MBA in Finance from Said Business School, University of Oxford. In 2007, he received the Chartered Professional Accountant designation in Canada.
