Joan is dedicated to mentoring and encouraging young women, and ensuring them that there is always room to grow personally and professionally.

“I have lived my entire career in a very male dominated industry. It all comes down to respecting the people who surround you for what they know and bring to the table, and receiving the same in return. The sky is the limit at CP.”

Francesca spends her days meeting with track teams, working on infrastructure improvements and developing plans to enhance CP’s performance.

“The railway is an exciting, fast-paced industry. I work with a really great team of people that support me and teach me something new every day.”

Aisha Jackson

Aisha Jackson, Trainmaster

CP is Aisha’s third railway in her home town of Chicago.

Her move to CP, came after some research. “I wanted more of a challenge,” she recalls. “So I googled a couple of Class I railroads, and CP caught my eye because there was more opportunity to move up.”

It took her just six months to do that, accepting a promotion to trainmaster in February 2016.
