Silent Night

When Christopher Hranek from Binghamton, NY, attended his first holiday train event this year with his three year-old Breanna, he shared a touching moment with Tracey Brown and the Holiday Train band.

As the band wrapped up their second last song, they heard a voice in the crowd asking for them to play Silent Night.  It was very meaningful to Christopher when they started to play the hymn as every year his family concludes their carols on Christmas Eve by singing Silent Night.

This year it was particularly touching as he tragically lost his daughter, Trinity Aurora Hranek, at seven weeks and three days from a staph infection after undergoing open heart surgery at five days old.

The Holiday Train talent and staff recognize how difficult this time of year can be for some. It is such a gift to be able to provide entertainment that not only unites communities, but also loved ones, both here and passed. From the bottom of our hearts, we wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.
