Teach rail safety

Be a rail safety ambassador

The safety and security of residents and our employees in the communities where we operate is our top priority. We've gathered these rail safety materials to help parents educate children, teenagers and their peers about being safe around rail crossings and railway property.

If you are not a parent and are interested in presenting to children on rail safety, contact Operation Lifesaver (CAN/U.S.) to become a certified presenter.

Rail Safety presenter guide

The purpose of a rail safety presentation is education. Presenters should aim to teach about how trains and railways operate so students can understand the risks. Please read and understand these guidelines and safety messages to deliver an effective presentation.

Educator's toolkit

These guidelines, facts and safety tips should be read and understood prior to delivering a rail safety presentation.
